This document shows how to remove the HTML-based remote management capability. If you do not use the TSWeb (you are probably only using the MMC IIS Manager), you should remove it. To remove the HTML-based remote management from your server: 1.) Click on "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel". 2.) Double click on the "Add/Remove Programs" Icon. 
3.) Click on the "Add/Remove Windows Components" as shown in the figure. 
4.) Click on "Internet Information Services", and then click on the "Details" button as shown in the figure. 
5.) Scroll down to "World Wide Web Service" and click the "Details" button. 
6.) Clear the "Remote Desktop Web Connection" checkbox, and click on the OK button. 
7.) Click on the "Next" button. | |
