This document explains how to remove Simple TCP/IP Services from WinXP. 1.) Click on "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel". 2.) Double click on the "Add/Remove Programs" Icon. 
3.) Click on the "Add/Remove Windows Components" as shown in the figure. 
4.) Click on "Networking Services", and then click on the "Details" button as shown in the figure. 
5.) Clear the "Simple TCP/IP Services" checkbox, clear the "RIP Listener" checkbox, clear the "Universal Plug and Play" checkbox and click on the OK button. 
6.) Click on the "Next" button. | |
