  1. Hi, we are looking into upgrading/reimaging all our win7 clients to win10, in this regard i have some questions i was hoping to get some answers from this great community :)

1: Existing Win7 client agents are connected to the Sccm2007 server. A sccm current branch is already set up with a win10 image almost ready to deploy. How would you solve this? I am pondering if we should just go F12 on every machine to get a clean install. Or is it better to somehow migrate the existing win7 agents over to sccm current branch agents, so they can upgrade from windows?

2: I know some of our users have a lot of documents etc on their local drive, how can one solve this without losing data?

3: Last but not least, all the win7 machines are setup with legacy bios, i was thinking it`s time to move over to UEFI. The new sccm server is set up and ready to accept uefi clients only. I`m not sure how to move on here either. (All PC`s are HP laptops)

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

  3. Not sure if i am in the right sub-forum, but i`ll give it a shot.

I`ve updated our KMS server with the Windows Srv 2012R2 DataCtr/Std KMS for Windows 10 key from our VLSC site, and the clients have been set the KMS key in advance for Win10 enterprise.

I noticed that when doing slmgr.vbs /ato on the windows clients, they activate, but the version of Windows changes from Enterprise to Pro.

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  4. Hi, this is my first post here. Could not google myself to an answer for this question, as most of them are related to meeting room mailboxes.

My boss wants to know if there is an option in Exchange 2010 for this:

Boss invites 10 colleagues to a meeting via the calendar.

He forgets/cba to check the availabilty tab when inviting the users.

He sends out the invitation, but he wants to know if there is any way that he would get an automated reply from the exchange server saying that "User X and User Y is already booked for that time."

Is this at all possible? He mentioned this was possible in the earlier versions of Exchange.

    Hope this made sense :)

    Cheers
