[Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2008]

Do we have to install MDT first and after that install MDT sp1 or can we directly install MDT sp1? I installed directly MDT sp1 and I don't have the folder 'servicing'

But what interest me is the deployment of winxp with SCCM. I've got several questions;

• can you install software on base image?
  
• what is in the sysprep image? how to create one?
  
• how to add the masstorage drivers?
  
• can you do a hal check?
  
• can you also execute a reg or cmd for setting some registry keys or links in xp?
