We are moving from using SCCM OSD to using MDT for Deployments.
In our SCCM OSD environment we used an HTA that would take user input and would generate a Computername (Specifically populate the OSDComputerName TS Variable). This worked fine in SCCM but since i've imported this into MDT its not working, meaning the build completes with an MDT generated Name like MININT-87976. I have disabled the computername part in MDT. I have also dumped all the variables during the OS Deployment to a text file, and ive noticed that the OSDComputerName is set to the HTA generated(correct ) name. So it seems like the variable is correct but its not passed to the OS.
Any help appreciated and will provide more info if requested.
