  1. Hi Guys

Im trying to delete 3 registey keys using SCCM but it fails with 0x1 error .. This is my command

    REG delete "hklm\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client" /v GPRequestedSiteAssignmentCode /f
    REG delete "hklm\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client" /v GPSiteAssignmentRetryDuration(Hour) /f
    REG delete "hklm\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client" /v GPSiteAssignmentRetryInterval(Min) /f

I tested local and it works

  2. Im hoping someone can point me the the right direction

I am in the process of doing a side by side migration from 2012 to Current Branch . I am in the testing phase. I setup the new CB and pushed the client to a machine I have on a subnet that was removed from the 2012 environment . The client installs but I noticed in the client properties it still gets the old MP , I get the correct new SITE Code . One other thing I noticed is in the registry I see GPRequestedSiteAssignmentCode keeps putting back the old site code even after I delete it but returns after a reboot But I still have the AssignedSiteCode with my new one in the registry. Im not sure what is putting it back I thought maybe it was a gpo but was told no such gpo exists

  3. The old admin setup the current structure. I want to migrate to a new single primary. As I am very new to this I wanted to simplify as I didnt see the need for a CAS. The pro9mary server will be set with

2 arrays.  1 made out of the 2 SSDs support a 60 GB C: drive (OS) and a 10 GB D: drive (PageFile).  The other array would be a RAID 50 for the SAS HDDs.  This will mean approximately 4.8 TBs of useable space for an E: drive (for the SCCM application and SQL) about 1 TB and the remaining 3.8 TBs for the software share/update repository/etc.With 128 GB of memory

  4. Hi

im setting up a new migrated environment from 2012r2 that has a CAS and 2 primaries my plan is to have the new hierarchy with only one primary . On the primary server is it ok to have SQL Server , reporting , app catalog and sup on it? With the Managemnet point and DP separated on another server? Also 6 other DP's and fallback  throughout the environment , I have about 3000 clients

im very new to sccm so any help is greatly appreciated

  6. I’m brand new to sccm taking over for someone who left

I’m upgrading my site to the new current branch  doing a side by side migration  because management wants new hardware  and server 2016 if I add  New remote distribution points I’m not sure how it gets all the content from the current ones do I just have to add it  to a  distribution group and the content syncs automatically or do I have to do something manually ?

Also for the other distribution points to be managed by the new site all I need to do is share it then reassign it ?

    thank you
