  3. Hi Been using Sys Ctr 2012 for about a year, all works well. I have recently created a few new OUs in the root of the domain, same as I do regularly. however SysCtr seems to not see these nae ones even though it can see others in the root and read from them as normal... any ideas? cheers

  5. Hi We current deploy 500+ applications and or Packages. Unfortunately for security reasons the source location needs to be changed, in a hurry. is there a method to do all these using a script or inbuilt function? Thanks

  9. Guys I have sequenced a couple test application to try on the new SysCtr 2012 system we have. I have sequenced with 5.0 i have obviously installed same version client on my test target machine I created a new Application in SysCtr and selected its type as Appv 5 etc Distributed this to our DPs, this shows as 100% Created a deployment to a collection with 1 test machine only Set the deployment to Available in Software center to allow me to start deployment at my leisure But each time this runs it almost instantly fails Clearly I have somethings not configured or wrong Is there a good 'Step by Step' or have I simply missed something obvious? thanks
  10. Hi In SCCM 2007 I had a number of BOOT.Wim's that worked fine. One, for intel machines will not work now were using SysCtr 2012. Ive tried both migrating the working image into the new system and creating a new image importing the same drivers. When I try to PXE the laptop it downloads the image fine but reboots as the is no NIC driver. Ive checked in F8 and there is no NIC. Other images are working fine is there a log file to tell me what driver its looking for and where? thanks
  11. in SCCM 2007 we could add [using right click tools] multiple devices to a collection using copy and pate, is there a function for this in SysCtr 2012? thanks
  12. Fixed this now Not sure why but created a new Admin account for the client deployments. Not sure why the old one didnt work as out SCCM 2007 site is still using it fine!
  13. I imported my WIM files fine from 2007 to 2012 during recent migration.
  14. Peter Yes I'm Syncing from upstream server in DMZ, The SyCtr server does not have access to MS servers as these are blocked on corporate firewalls. The Upstream server is just a 2008R2 running WSUS, will this have a generic folder to download from?
  15. I have installed a Fallback Point which shows no errors in the Client Status monitoring
  16. My SysCtr 2012 system is not yet live, after migrating the 2007 information in I'm still doing some testing. I've installed a few clients manually and its mostly working fine, Packages deploy and I can rebuild machines etc I have not yet configured the Client to Automatically deply, and when I select a collection and select Install Client this does not work. I believe this should work even though global client deployment is not turned on? thanks

  19. Hi Im setting up SysCtr 2012 and i have an issue I have it deploying applications and OSD etc but cannot get Software updates to work I have WSUS working fine, and SysCtr sees all the available updates But when I try to build an update group or Deployment package I have trouble. The system requires a 'Download From' location. I cannot use Internet as we are behind firewalls, I snyc the content from an upstream server, as can be seen above this allows the updates to be seen, but I cannot seem to download them? Any help please

  22. Hi I'm about half way through a 2007 to 2012 migration, its going OK and most objects migrated ok I have a few machines in the site just for testing, I have set up a couple test applications and these deploy fine and install well My issue is, Ive set up a new Windows 7 image, created a new BOOT wim etc, created a new TS for testing and deployed these to DP. The machine sees this TS in Software Center ok but when I try to run this I get an error Unable to make changes to your system None of the applications you tried ti install began installation successfully. Investigate the reason for the installation failures and then try to install the applications again. Click OK to return do Software Center I have tried adding the WDS role and removing etc, Can anyone help please Thanks
