  3. Hi all We deiver a number of applications using SCCM and there normaly set to "Rerun if failed previous" but sometimes we need to redeliver that applications to the whole collection. Is there a way to clear the "flag" that is used by SCCM to signify if had delivered to a collection? I dont want to set to "rerun if succedded" as this just keeps runing the install time after time. Thanks Keith
  4. Yes, we need to change it, well add more sites really to allow a new software application to work, only for one department.
  5. Hi I have wrot a small app that just changes the DNS entries in the registry, I have given the MSi registry rights for both Builtin Users and Builtin Administrators but keep getting the error Unable to perform Windows Installer per-user elevation I have ran the MSi on my machine from the desktop and it works fine, so it seems to be an SCCM issue I have tried delivering as both user and administrator and nothing seems to make a difference. Helps would be great Thanks Keith

  7. Hi, just to be clear The package DOES replicate to the share folder on both the site server and the distribution server as long as the source files are on the C drive of the SCCM site server, if I move these to another server which the site server is mapped to this then fails, I have changed the path in the file location section and can browse to the folder containing the application ok and can see the files within keith

  9. Hi I have a mapped drive onto a network share from the SCCM server, on here I have applications. I have pointed the SCCM server to this for the Data Source for applications to be delivered. I get this error though SMS Distribution Manager failed to process package "Package Name" (package ID = SE10006F). Possible cause: Distribution manager does not have access to either the package source directory or the distribution point. Solution: Verify that distribution manager can access the package source directory/distribution point. Possible cause: The package source directory contains files with long file names and the total length of the path exceeds the maximum length supported by the operating system. Solution: Reduce the number of folders defined for the package, shorten the filename, or consider bundling the files using a compression utility. Possible cause: There is not enough disk space available on the site server computer or the distribution point. Solution: Verify that there is enough free disk space available on the site server computer and on the distribution point. Possible cause: The package source directory contains files that might be in use by an active process. Solution: Close any processes that maybe using files in the source directory. If this failure persists, create an alternate copy of the source directory and update the package source to point to it. which account is the "sccm distribution manager account" thanks Keith

    PXE Boot help

Hi Thanks for answer, I am using VMWARE for both server & client, I have added the VMware drivers to the boot.wim by extracting the drivers from an existing VM client (also XP) and using them. I am not sure if another driver is needed other than the normal ones. Keith
