  1. Dear, I just discovered that my most important Task Sequence has been deleted by someone ... Is there a way to restore this?? must appreciated if you can help me out! best regards
  2. Hey Guys / Niall - I've got a straightforward question for you all, please... We recently retied a Secondary server which was installed temporarily and did so by choosing to uninstall it from the console. Unfortunately, the uninstall seemed to only partially work. The console currently doesn't show any reference to it or its site code, but we are being flooded with the below status message every ~30 minutes: Site QDC has failed to detach. Refer to rcmctrl.log for further details. The thing is, when looking in rcmctrl.log, there is no reference to QDC. The server the secondary was installed to is still online and still has SQL installed, but nothing is installed related to SCCM - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\ doesn't even exist. I've tried running "preinst /delsite QDC", but it says "Cannot find site [QDC] in the site control data in the database. Checking in ServerData in the database. Failed to execute SQL query." I also obviously cannot attempt an uninstall directly from the server as the Program Files no longer exist. I'm pretty sure I've had to delete a site from the database long ago, but don't remember the exact details nor can find instruction online. We are running SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU4 on top of Windows Server 2012 R2 Any suggestions? Thanks!
  3. I've searched around both through Google and through here and I can't seem to find an answer. It seems I may have to dive through SQL to do this. Users in our enterprise rotate use of machines often. This causes issues for user/device affinity and a couple of questions come to mind. Can all affinities of a selected collection be reset? Clicking "Manage Affinity" on a collection only brings up the Approve/Reject dialog. If a users is 'administrator defined' rather that 'Usage agent defined', does that ever get removed? Thanks! Edit: SC2012 R2
  4. Hello All We are having an issue with our new SCCM Environment. SCCM was happily working, Deploying OS's, Installing and Uninstalling applications and the other day just stopped Uninstalling applications. It will install but wont remove. We are SCCM 2012 SP1 installed on Server 2008R2 we have a Standalone site and our Collections are populated via Querying AD Groups. Our Install and Uninstall Collections are updating and when we check the deployments within properties on the Device it shows the relevant 'Install' or 'Removal' for the required application. What we have noticed is: Before we had the problem even if we didnt have an application installed, within the Software Centre the application would be listed with a Status of Not Installed - Now it does not. If we delete the deployment and recreate we get the same issue If we delete the collection and recreate and then create a new deployment we get the same issue If we create a new application and create an uninstall deployment on the old collection it works We have looked through a lot of logs and have found some errors, not sure of which to post as not sure what is relevant. Can anyone offer any advice? Many Thanks Mark Jones
  5. Hello, I am really hoping someone has either a good script they have found our a good way to clean up and remove old collections quickly. The problem I have is this new company I am at use to make a 'temp' collection each time they had to push out a single install to one machine, however they never cleaned those up and deleting them individually would take a very long time. So my question would be: Does anyone know how to delete multiple collections at once? Thank you all,
  6. How do you restore a computer that was deleted from a collection, but it doesn't have the SCCM client installed on it?
