  1. We have a HTTPS-only enabled SCCM (MDT integrated) and have disabled the network access account in the software distribution properties. After disabling the network access account our task sequence is stuck at the very last stage when it´s trying to copy the log files to the share defined in CustomSettings.ini. There is a network credentials dialog box displayed behind the TS progress bar, at that point we can enter any text in the username/PW fields (non-existing account/PW) and press OK and the logs are successfully copied to the server share. Any ideas what can be causing this password prompt at that stage? The share/NTFS permissions seem OK and it obviously does not need any valid credentials to successfully copy the files, is it using the computer account?
  2. Gents, I would like to know if it is possible to create a new DP and put the content library on a network share ... From my point of view it should work if we map the network share as a drive, but I cannot find the info on the Internet and I also would like to know if this setup would be supported. The shared folder's physical location would be on a NAS. BR, Sypa
  3. I want to thank the forum in adavnce. I am new to windows-noob, but I have read several good post here. I have a question that I have not been able to find an answer to. Our environment: SCCM 2007 version 4.00.6487.2000 with R2 isntalled. We have a specific software program that is installed on all client workstations. Currently this is being pushed out by a software Distribution package. This works perfectly with no issues. The there are Dat files that the program uses that change every 15 mins from the vendor. Is there any way I can have the workstations monitor a network share and automatically download the changes every 15 mins? For instance, Lets say our server is server1 and client 1 has a folder on their computer set up this way: C:\program\files\ In the files folder there are .dat files that change every 15 mins that need to be download from server1 share, that is shared like this: \\server1\root program\program dat files folder\ .Then within the program dat files folder there are the dat files. Please let me know if you need any more info. Thank you so much!
