I'm having an issue where my Windows 10 task sequence loses it's DNS servers right after the "Setup Windows and Configuration manager" Step reboot. Steps taken so far: - Downloaded all network drivers for this pc model and added them to Driver package and boot image. - Ran "ipconfig /all" and it returned good IP and correct DNS servers during winpe pxe boot - After " Setup Windows and Configuration manager" step reboot I ran "ipconfig /all" again and the dns server IPs have been changed to older (decommissioned) DNS IPs. I am having problems with getting some OOBE Settings in unattend.xml applied to my image. After spending a week troubleshooting it, I am noticing that during my OSD task sequence execution, not all the settings of my MDT Settings Package's unattend.xml are being copied over to the C:\windows\panther\unattend\unattend.xml. My Setup: - OSD Image Built and Captured using MDT 2010 Update 1 - W7 SP1 x64 with French language package added and all Windows Updates as of June 2014 downloaded directly from Windows Update via the MDT TS before it was sysprep and captured as wim. Hi, I am having problem with deploying Windows 7 prof ent. where OS is en-US and keyboard input is pl-PL (Polish). Situation: As an Company policy we need to deploy Windows 7 prof. ent. eng. version, and locally we are able to chose local keyboard input settings. Meaning da-DK, de-DE, en-US og pl-PL. I have created my unattend.xml files in Windows System Image Manager, and made the change to OOBESystem. I have follow the excellent guide from Windows noob.com @ URL: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1660-customising-windows-7-deployments-part-1/ Everything se

I'm trying to use a unattended xml file in my task sequence (in apply operating system). What i want my unattended installation to do is to select english user interface version of windows 7 x64, but with norwegian keyboard etc. I have to do this because my task sequence requires me to choose between english and norwegian version of windows, but when i do it manually (even when choosing english version), i still get norwegian keyboard. The file i use is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <unattend xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <settings pass="oobeSys

I am at my wits end here. I have tried everything I can think of and I have had no luck with this. I am trying to get my Task Sequence to modify the time zone setting based on a Collection Variable setting I have created. Here's how it works. 1. Upon bootup, the Task Sequence Wizrd Appears, and the user selects the Taks sequence 2. Next they are prompted for the Task Sequence Variable to edit. The available options are: a. languageValue b. OSDcomputerName c. regionValue All of these variables work great, but my problem is I want the TimeZone to adjust based on the regoinV
