force install application... locally?

I have a program that simply won't install from a share..
it errors out.. and if I manually place it on the computer and install it.. it works.

I suppose its because in reality it installs a tons of small things, and it can't figure out how to use a share in the address line when pointing to its own files

So I was hoping to somehow force the application to be downloaded locally and run locally?

As it is right now I get the same error trying to deploy it, so I'm assuming its attempting to run from the Distribution Point

Are you creating an application or a package? What does your install program look like?
