capture image from pc

Recommended Posts

i'm having an issue creating the task that lets me capture a pc

i got everything up and running so far, i can manually ImageX a pc, but when i create the task to capture its wants me to specify a OS system Image (which i can not create)

can i create a empty WIM file and go from there?

Hi there

I followed the below guide from this forum to create my own wim file as i had a few extra files and folders i wanted to add to the base image. Its really straight forward and does the trick perfectly. Hope it helps

yes the above guide does help with capturing images but does involve manual steps, in practise it's best to automate things as much as possible by using a fully customized build and capture task sequence
