Can't image Latitude E7450 - no TS password screen

Recommended Posts

We just got in a new Latitude E7450, first one we've had. We immediately try to image it and it gets all the way to the point where we are about to be asked for the password to begin imaging, and the device reboots. Any idea why this is happening?

Hello

We got no issue with same model here.

Is it PXE boot ? USB boot ? full media ?

Is it an hard reboot or is it a winpe initated reboot ? (if it is a winpe intiated reboot, opening a DOS window with F8 should prevent the reboot)

If you're able to do, look at x:\windows\temp\smsts.log and/or post it here.

It is PXE boot and is a hard reboot. It gets to the point where it says something about preparing network connections then reboots. This is likely the step right before the password prompt comes up where we can then select the image to apply. I've attached the smsts log.

After imprinting different drivers into the .wim, I attempted to update the distribution points and get the following error:

Error: The wizard detected the following problems when updating the boot image.
