How can I deploy Windows 10 Enterprise x64 with MDT 2013 Update 1 integrated with System Center 2012 R2 SP1 Configuration Manager ?

Recommended Posts

First of all thanks for the absolutely stellar guides... this had made the switch from MDT to SCCM so much easier.

A few of quick questions if you don't mind.

  • Is it possible to skip the task sequence selection? (like you can do in regular MDT deployments)
  • Is it possible to add an auto login to the end of the sequence?
  • Can the sequence be changed to auto name computers?

These are normally something i would configure in customsettings.ini but is that the case with these deployments?

Thanks for all your help.

1. yes but then they become required (as in not optional), or you can use a script to run the smstsprefferedadvertid variable

2. yes just script it as a step in the ts

3. absolutely, see the cm12 hta, it does that (and lots more)
