Direct Membership rule in collection

Question

Hello

We are advertising a software to a collection, and adding new members to the collection daily threw direct membership.

But in the "System" "name" and "value" we can only enter one computer name at a time in the "value". Is it possible to enter more then one name to add computers to this collection?

Something like: Computer1;Computer2;Computer3 , so that these 3 computers will be added to the collection with direct membership rules, and we don't have to go threw the wizard 3 times for these computers. We are adding 10 computers each day.

Thanks :)

This is an option if they have similare names:

The "%" is a jokerchar, which represents any char.

You don´t have to have the "%" at the end, you can put it anywhere.

Try it out! :)

Hi

Try downloading this utility - SMS Collection Commander which is created by the gr8 man Roger Zander...

http://sourceforge.net/projects/smscollctr/

It helps you to add the computers to a collection in an easier way....

Hope this helps....

If there are lot many computers which starts with INL-XXXX ,then you can use INL% which means,it gets all the computers that begins with INL and if you use %INL ,it gets you all the computers that ends with INL.If you use %INL% means that, looking for all computers whose name contains the characters 'INL'.
