fad632 Posted January 25, 2017 Report post Posted January 25, 2017 I managed to get our Surface Pros to build by adding the drivers for the USB network adapter you are using to the driver package for the surface pro... This sounds like the issue we had, and I'm suspecting that the reason the machine hangs is because the network adapter on the USB is incorrect once the package has applied, or simply missing. We used the Dell Display Link (mainly because we had them lying around in the office), but adding the drivers for the display link worked. Or if you are getting as far as the image deploying then you will have the correct drivers already in place on your boot image, you could just ensure that the drivers applied to the boot image are added to the Surface Pro package.
