MikeA Posted November 9, 2017 Report post Posted November 9, 2017 Hi all, I see the pre-cache feature for an OS upgrade Task Sequence was implemented as pre-release in CB 1611 and is still in pre-release in CB 1706. Do you know if this will become a released feature some time soon? Has anyone used it successfully, even though it's in pre-release? Thanks! Jepeto 46 Posted November 13, 2017 Report post Posted November 13, 2017 You can pre-cache without the feature being enabled. once you have completely finalized the TS, set the the TS to be required and available now and and mandatory deadline deploy even 20 years from now. It will start pre-caching, and you can then deploy the exact same TS on schedule, say a week from today, it will use what's in the cache. Any changes you make will cause it to re-cache.
