Unable to "import computer information"

Question

I followed the guide here http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/512-how-can-i-deploy-windows-vista-sp1-using-sccm-2007-sp1/, but for some reason I'm not able to import computer information at all

I created a collection, then import computer information using MAC addr and GUID, and add it to the test collection but the reference computer doesn't show up at all in the test collection.

Anyone has any idea?

Thanks

did you update collection membership and press F5 to refresh ?

Yes I did, several times, and i went as far as reboot the server, but nothing is shown :(, I think this is the reason why I'm getting smsboot\x64\abortpex.com and "No advertisement found in db" in the smspxe.log

Hi all,

It say that SCCM2007 R2, allow to boot on PXE all interface (and incoming interface), so it is possible to boot on PSP without adding Macadress of the mahcine ?

if i buy in my enterprise 300 new pc wich i need to deploy, i'll not add 300 macadress+ GUID in my SCCM2007 ?! true ?

how can i do to boot unknow PC in my PSP ?

if you want to use the unknown computer feature of R2 then you'll need to advertise some task sequences to the Unknown Computers collection, if you make them optional then you'll get a list to choose from
