EngiNerd Posted March 24, 2021 Report post Posted March 24, 2021 Hello everybody, Given the issues I faced a few weeks ago while installing SCCM 2007, I thought it would have been a good idea to download the prerequisites for SCCM 2012 (and 2012 R2) before they become EOL. Turned out I was late, as Microsoft has already deleted them from their servers. Indeed, although SCCM 2012 is still supported, while investigating this issue, I found out that Microsoft seems to be aware of it since several months, yet it is unclear if they would fix it: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/76409/sccm-2012-r2-prerequisites-download-error.html Also, it appears that recently prerequisites for SCCM 1606 were deleted as well: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/322859/prereq-download-404-error-when-installing-primary.html Therefore, I would kindly ask if some of you who still have SCCM prerequisites, and in particular SCCM 2012 SP1 and SCCM 2012 R2 SP0, could make them available. Also, I would advise these people to backup those files (as well as the prerequisites for later versions of SCCM) and keep them in a safe place, as they are required to install SCCM.
