To Download the update components, you can use "check updates and download to alternative path" if your server has internet connection else you can download the patches manually and provide source path. How do you know which patches to download from MS which are required for the installation?

These components are requried when installing the Vnext client onto clients which you manage.these components will be installed prior to install Vnext client(client.msi).

You can use Vnext setup.exe with command line syntax like Drive: \ConfigMgr vNext Overview\Configuration Manager vNext Beta 1\SMSSETUP\BIN\X64\setup.exe /?

The syntax is: Drive: \ConfigMgr vNext Overview\Configuration Manager vNext Beta 1\SMSSETUP\BIN\X64\setup /download Drive: \folder
