Error 0x8007002

While deploying Windows 7 after WINPE when it reboots and starts intializing hardware devices,and while applying

OS image i recieve an error 0x8007002.

 

I am deploying it on Vmware workstation machine.Also the Xp is a n licensed version

whereas the Windows 7 is not

licensed copy. Is it beacuse of that it is preventing it from moving ahead.

The smsts.log states that the network acccess account is incoorect, i provided it

again but still the pb isnt resolved, teh folder where the wim file resides

is propely shared and has permission too.

 

I have also attached smts.log for your reference.Please suggest.

do you have an ip address when it fails ? open a command prompt (f8) and type ipconfig

Hi,

 

i tried doing ipconfig ,but i was unable to get any host name ip details.

In the smsts.log i am getting unknown host error, what is going wrong.

If you don't get an IP-address, then you can't resolve any hostnames. So make sure you get an IP-address, probebly by adding a NIC driver.
