Need a script to be invoked as local admin

Question

We are gearing up to roll out new software for our users. In the process of testing the application, we discovered that the local admin rights needs to be invoked on each PC in order to install the application. It is required because Windows 7 requires an account with local admin privileges to copy and register .dll's in c:\windows\system32, which the application must do in order to install on a standard (non-admin) user's PC.

We attempted to disable UAC but this caused all command prompts to open up as standard user sessions, not as local admin.

Ideally, we'd like to bypass UAC altogether and have the application install kick off in the background without requiring the user to intervene. We will be installing the application for 24 local users and updating the software monthly.
