Recommended Posts

I am having HPPT error 401.1 - Unauthorized - You do not have permission to view this directory or page using this credentials that you supplied.

Other details are as follows:

Physical Path - c:\program files\SMS_CCM\CMapplicationcatalog

Log on Method - Not yet determined

Logon User - Not yet determined

The client push install is working fine. Just want to find out how to resolve http error where, I want to go in and look for successful install (GREEN)

I tried administrator and clientinstall account to login to hppt://sccm2012......... - Yet same error.

Hello everyone!

@anyweb : Great tutorials :)

I have a problem with the application server. I get the message:

Cannot connect to the application server.

The website cannot communicate with the server. This might be a temporary problem. Try again later to see if the problem has been corrected. If this problem continues, contact your help desk.

I checked the permissions, I checked the IIS and everything seems to be ok ... any suggestions how to fix this ?

Thanks!

Emilian

Hello,

I have a problem when installing client. See logs on all machine:

MP 'SCCM.aqua.test' didn't return DP locations for client package with the expected version. Retrying in 30 minutes. ccmsetup 08/03/2012 15:43:56 1052 (0x041C)

Extended AD schema Ok

Package on endpoint

I don't understand where is my mistake.

Thanks

David

New to SCCM, only just started with CM2012 RC (Build 7700)

I too have the same issue with the Software Center/Application Catalog.

I enabled WCF Activation as per an earlier post, plus rebooted the server, update the agents, etc and now the webpage just repeately scrolls between website found and redirecting, then eventually fails with an IIS error.

I have tried removing both Application Catalog site roles and running the cmd line for .net 4 - this does nothing.

Any help would be great appreciated.

Well i am having the same issue with client not installing. But before i start installing .net 4 and installclient to the local admin and if that does not work disable wire.....I would like to know what logs do you guys look at? CCMSetup.Log has to be on the client, or the server. I cant find anything related to sccm on the client.

Thank you,

did you follow the guide exactly as it is ? if so you won't have issues.

verify that the installation account for the clientinstall is a member of the local administrators group

try disabling the firewall to see if that helps

the ccmsetup.log will be present on the computer you are installing the client on

I was only able to came back to my lab today. Everything is fine and my windows 7 does have a client installed.

I do have question, say i missed adding clientinstall account to the local admin "this is doen via GPO" and server is not able to start the push of the client.

Will it still generate ccmsetup.log on the client?

Thank you for your work.

when going through the deployment i was wondering about the CAS. now if i have a CAS and 2 primary, would i install the sccm client from one of the primaries? or just leave it without a client. i am trying to figure this out before we hit production soon.

where are you planning on installing the client ? i'm not following your train of thought exactly... you can't install the client from the CAS because it doesn't manage clients, you can only install it from your primary sites.
