You cannot do an upgrade directly from SMS 2003 x86 to SCCM 2007 x64.

what you can do besides the side-by-side scenario that Peter suggested is the following:

Then you can move to the x64 platform and SCCM 2007, note that all path's and disk layout must be identical!!

I would probably go for the side-by-side migration myself, but in some scenarios just must upgrade SMS2003 because it is to much work to install a new site and move everything.

jörgen

Thanks for replies guys,

Is correct this guide for syde by syde upgrade:

http://sccmguy.com/2011/03/12/sms-to-sccm-side-by-side/

This workflow is correct:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb681052.aspx

The steps are:

Install in new hardware, with new name and new site code, sccm 2007 in a primary site

attach sms 2003 with sccm2007

upgrade clients

upgrade sms 2003 to sccm2007

replicate.

Is correct?
