ellefson Posted April 25, 2012 Report post Posted April 25, 2012 Hi all. I have sccm 2007 environment which is site code ABC. Also i installed sccm 2012 RTM with site code XYZ. Migration steps succeeded. But i want to know what is the best practice. Installing SCCM 2012 with same site code and name as SCM 2007 (ABC) or second one ? This was a major issue with our environment. Lukily, we had just implemented SCCM 2007 so we didn't need to really "migrate" any data.
