WDSIMGSRV Error:261

Question

I'm struggling to resolve an issue with wds. On the client I receive the following:

WdsClient: An error occured while communicating with the Windows Deployment Services server. Please check to ensure that the server is operational and that the necessary ports are open on the server's firewall. Server name [*.*.com], Server IP Address [192.168.100.20].

Checking the event viewer within the server I can see the following:

- Provider

I've changed the server name due to local security policy.

I've tried to use the wdsutil to reinitialize the services. I've checked the registry for a corrupt key according to Microsoft's http://technet.micro...687dbfc894.aspx page. I've followed every step the letter in regards to this problem and I'm still having an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
