Hardlink migration - unable to clear userstate folders at partitions after successful restoration of data

Question

Hi Folks

We are using SCCM 2007 R2 & USMT 4.0 to migrate OS using hardlink option. In TS, we specifically mentioned under "Set Task Sequence Variable" step is "OSDStateStorePath" with the value "c:\_SMSTaskSequence\userState". We are using customize option under "Capture user files & setting" option & mentioned three xml files -- MigUser.xml, MigDocs.xml & MigApp.xml.

Under "Restore user files & setting" step, we are using standard options only.

TS is running fine & new OS is being installed and data is also being restored under respective partitions.

Only issue is that we found a folder named "_SMSTaskSequence/userState" in every partition & this folder contains duplicate copy of the restored data which is unnecessarily occupying disk space.

We want that this folder should be removed from partitions automatically after successful restoration of the data.

No error reported in smsts.log file. I'm attaching scanstate log file with start point & end point
