Product Description from Volume Licensing: Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager makes it easier for IT to empower users to be productive with a unified infrastructure that delivers and manages rich user experiences across corporate and consumer devices. This license includes use rights to Virtual Machine Manager and SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard. I have Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 on cluster installed. More information: Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition (64-bit) Version: 10.50.1600.1 Microsoft tells that Server 2008 R2 supported (http://technet.micro...nfigSQLDBconfig) During the this SCCM installation I got the message(Attached) Please help me to understand this error? is it bad license or SCCM 2012 installer? My Suggestion would be, use SQL server 2008 std edition + sql 2008 service pack2 + Cumulative update 7.
