Question

Hi
I am new to SCCM 2012 and have followed all your guides and so far all is well,
we have single primary server and around 700 PC's globally.

the issue we have is all the asset intelligence works fine and all the hardware and
software inventories scan and pull data happily for most machines apart from
around 10 machines have you any ideas what i should do?

My appoligies i meant to add the hardware inventory completes but not the software inventory and when you look at these particular machines on the management console the software scan is blank.

i am trying to run an auditing software which needs this to be populated and this is what pointed the issue out.

Any info would be great i have been pulling my hair out for days

IMO SW inv will not help you with SW audits.

For example: What is sol.exe? If you guess solitaire you would be right? However if you also guessed HP Solation Center, you would also be right. What about your DP do they have a license for everything since the software is on the servers?

So for over 100 minutes this PC is trashing it hard drive to find most (not all) exe, dll, and MSI.

Since it is not 100% what is the point?

Now back to you problem, do you seen the PC’s name on the site server within the sinvproc.log?
