ccm installed but console shows No Client

Question

Hi all,

there is a strange behavior here with my SCCM 2007SP1(W2K8/SQL2005SP2/Single-Domain-Forest, Scheme extended) environment: A WinXP client had successfully installed the client, even the properties page of the client displays all information about the installed client, site-assignment, etc. Also an inventory already successfully completed as I can see in Ressource Explorer. However in console-view it still reads 'No' in the client column?!? Refreshed 1000 times, waited, rebooted, nothing changes.

Any ideas???

Martin

if it says 'client=no' then a Discovery Data Cycle hasnt been run yet, try running it manually by initiating the action on the client, then do a refresh in ConfigMgr

late friday night, more than 10 hrs after the device had been discovered and the client had been installed, the console switched to "yes" in the client installed column. That's really strange I think. Thanks for your reply anyway.

Let me also take the opportunity to say thank you for your really great and extremly helpful step-by-step guides. They are the best for SCCM I found and I was searching the web for days!

cheers
