No SCEP Icon in System Tray

Recommended Posts

I have a client machine that I thought didn't have the SCEP client. According to the logs the SCEP client is already installed and protected, but it is not in the system tray. I want to run a full on-demand scan, but I can't do it because there is no interface to run. I uninstalled the SC client and re-pushed it to the client to see if it would re-install SCEP, but the EndpointProtectionAgent.log on the client says:

File C:\Windows\ccmsetup\SCEPInstall.exe version is 2.2.903.0. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)
EP version 2.2.903.0 is already installed. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)
Expected Version 2.2.903.0 is exactly same with installed version 2.2.903.0. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)
AM Policy XML is ready. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)
Handle EP Deployment Policy. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)
EP Policy Custom Antimalware Policy - Endpoint Protection Managed Desktops is already applied. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)
EP Client is already installed, will NOT trigger reinstall for now. EndpointProtectionAgent 5/1/2013 11:35:11 AM 4092 (0x0FFC)

Any ideas why the SCEP client is not visible?

Not that I am aware of. Where is that setting at? I see 'delete quarantined files after (days)' option in my custom antimalware policy on the 'advanced' tab, but there is no option to disable the client user interface. I have not installed SP1 yet.
