Hi,

Even if I sent you a respond on your message, I'll post it here as well if anyone might run into the same issue.

Can you create normal mailboxes?

If that is the case you can change mailbox type after you've been creating the mailboxes by using

set-mailbox -id roommailbox01 -type room

I hope this will help you

Ps. Are you using CU1?

Another question I have regarding Exchange 2013 is the following.

Only when my users send meeting requests i get the following error.

I would start with enabling the verbose logging for the connector and check the log files for errors

If you want, post the smtp session in the thread or even better, create a new thread and set this to solved since its a new incident

Cheers

Message tracking log path:

Enable connectivity log
Connectivity log path:

Send protocol log path:
Receive protocol log path:

Enabled the above settings.

Are you using Forefront Protection or any other 3rd part product for preventing spam?

Also verify the transport services are started, both the frontend transport and the regular transport service

i googled the 421 error it is a greylist / time out error but greylisting is disabled on the antispam software.

I would start with uninstalling the antispam solution and see if it works fine without it, probably it will (seen these issues many times)

If it does, then contact the vendor support or check their forum for a solution

ok, so for this solution to work properly i should just use MS EXCH2013 built in anti spam?

Not really, verify that the 3rd part software is supporting Exchange 2013.

I just recommended a way forward for solving your issue :)

Did you uninstall the 3rd part antispam solution?

If yes, then verify in services.msc that there is no dependency for any 3rd part services for Transport Service and Frontend Transport service

verify the services, that they are started, also check the dependencies so these are started if there are some (are there any dependecies, list them in here)

can you run exbpa and see if it gives you any error or warnings
