AdinE 16 Posted September 4, 2013 Report post Posted September 4, 2013 Installing SQL Server first is not required, as DPM will automatically install SQL Server for you as part of the application installation process. Since I install SQL on the local System Center server for each product, my example will allow DPM to install SQL on its own. If anyone is looking for instructions on installing SQL Server, please see my personal blog: http://adinermie.wordpress.com/lab-environment/system-center-2012-sp1-in-a-lab-installation-part-d-install-sql-server/
crazykilla86 0 Posted September 11, 2014 Report post Posted September 11, 2014 Love your tutorials, but it would be good to see an updated version of this for 2012R2, because it does NOT have the option to install it's own.
AdinE 16 Posted September 13, 2014 Report post Posted September 13, 2014 Thanks for the suggestion. I will work on making an updated guide for 2012 R2.
