I am seeing errors in the DataTransferService.log
Successfully queued event on HTTP/HTTPS failure for server '<WORKSTATION.MYDOMAIN.COM>'.
Error sending DAV request. HTTP code 401, status 'Authentication Required'
GetDirectoryList_HTTP('http://<WORKSTATION.MYDOMAIN.COM>:8003/SCCM_BranchCache$/Content_9f1e6a11-f929-4cab-ba1f-6c9ee5e44b9e') failed with code 0x80070005.
There is an entry like above for multiple workstations in my environment.
The timing (within a few 10-20 seconds) of the above error corresponds to a Windows Security Log entry
An account failed to log on.

I've got an account under Security/Accounts called :
<mydomain>\SMSClientInstall Windows User Account Network Access Account
However this account does not exist on my domain (I inherited this environment so I'm not 100% sure what has been done).
This hasn't been a problem (apparently) until we started trying to use BranchCache and PeerCache.
It appears to me that BrancheCache is trying to use the SMSClientInstall account to access the cache on the remote system and is failing because that account does not exist.
I cannot delete the SMSClientInstall out of the Security/Accounts. Any suggestions?
