I followed the tips and didnt get an email

Hello guys , at 1st i would like to thank you all for these amazing topics 2nd I would like you to help me in my problem , I am a newbie to the SCSM I have got a task that to make a notification by email when a client creates an incident in the SMportal. can anyone help me with that ??? I noticed a topic http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/8943-scsm-2012-sp1-in-a-lab-configuration-part-g-set-up-and-configure-notifications/ it is like :when the user press submit i get email notification It was really helpful but I didnt really get how to make the notification of an incedent can you help me with that??? and sorry about the wrong topic name
