Hi Pepo
I realize this is an old post..
What you should do is use USMT 10, since it supports from Windows 7 and in the other end supports all the way up to Office 2013 (2016 not yet?).
Please also look into this guide

I guess you mean USMTGUI?
IF you mean free in the sense that you can download it and use it indefinitely without supporting me in any way? No then it is not free. I apologize if it's not allowed to refer to SW here if it isn't free :-/
However All schools use USMTGUI for free and I have close to 50 Universities using USMTGUI as a standard software and some donate anyway because of the usefulness of USMTGUI.
I don't know your salary BUT if you compare the cost of $10 to the cost in time if you were to download the whole AIK, extract USMT, and read the documentation to make USMT run, I'd say it's a really good "money saver"
ALSO:
WET is deprecated (and gone in Windows 10),
M.U.S.T hasn't been updated since 2011 and USMT4 doesn't support Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10.
Forensit User Profile Wizard http://www.forensit.com/Shop/Product.aspx?PID=15 is $89 and since it isn't USMT based doesn't fully migrate MS products. I have MANY people come my way after trying Forensit.

Hi
Since this tool has never been updated, I recommend using USMTGUI. A simple GUI for USMT.
With USMTGUI you can move (backup) user accounts from a running Windows (XP, Vista, Win 7, 8, 8.1 and 10)
and restore onto a new PC running Windows Vista, Win 7, 8, 8.1 AND Windows 10!!

Hi
When re-deploying a workstation that has failed, the "Unknown" workstation in "Devices" just stays there.
It doesn't move into "All Unknown Computers" or another collection.
In other words it is now "known" but not a member of any collection so it will not be offered any installation.
WHAT to do?

Hi
Actually todd9774 nailed it for me!!
Here it is:
DO NOT point to the lp.cap folder directly.
If your language pack is contained in the in the folder structure \\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\da-dk\lp.cap
you should point to
\\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\
not
\\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\da-dk\
BUT be ware; EVERYTHING in the \\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\ folder will be copied to the distibution point!!
So if you want to use one or more languagepacks please do as Niall: create a folder for each language, da, de, ch, etc and put the corresponding language folders da-dk, de-de, etc, in there.
\\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\da\da-dk\lp.cap
\\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\de\de-de\lp.cap
THEN point to the da, de, etc.folders in the individual packages in System Center.
\\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\da\da-dk\lp.cap
\\"servername"\sources\languagepacks\de\de-de\lp.cap
Works like a charm

Hi
When following the guide CLOSELY, but using rhe latest Win7 x64 SP1
SW_DVD5_SA_Win_Ent_7w_SP1_64BIT_English_-2_MLF_X17-58882.ISO
AND Languagepack
SW_DVD5_NTRL_Win_7SP1_64BIT_MultiLang_no_ZHTW_Lang_Pk_X17-19009.ISO
from Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center.
The language package install starts, but then skips after a few seconds.
We do not get any errors and do not have "Continue on error" set. And the installation is not interrupted or anything. The languagepack just isn't installed.
Do you have any ideas?
