  1. My SCCM2007 system that is on the network install it's client while I was prepping the server for the SCCM 2010 install, so yes I would say that is correct. however doing a ccmsetup /uninstall did not seem to fix it I had to block it from the other system and then do the uninstall to get it to leave the Server alone.
  2. OK so I fixed the issue, seems my SCCM2007 site was more agressive in delivering the client then I thought.
  3. can't get past the assessment part still says client version on management point computer is a prior version when this server is a fresh install with nothing on it not even antivirus yet.

  5. I am using SQL 2008 R2 SP1 CU6 and I was following your CAS guide but am winging it for the primary since you don't have that guide yet or I am not seing it on the site.

  7. FIrst let me thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Now to the question, in the Prerequisite Check I have a failure it says "Client Version on Management Point Computer" when I click on it to get the details I get this paragraph "You cannot install te management point on a computer with an earlier version of the Configuration Manager client installed. Upgrade the client to the current version, remove the client, or select a different computer for the management point installation, and then try again." The server that the primary site is going on is brand new built it specificaly to house this server. Any one have this problem and a fix?
