  1. Is it possible to still PXE boot to LiteTouch if I move to using SCCM for images? We currently have a server running MDT 2012 and WDS. What I want to be able to do is retain that MDT share, delete the WDS role and make this server a DP in SCCM and enable it as a PXE boot location for SCCM. But I still want the ability to PXE boot a machine and be able to hit the LiteTouch boot wim that we currently use to image new machines. Is this possible? Thanks Chris
  2. I checked that, but I can push out to other clients. It's something to do with the fact that I deleted this PC from SCCM and now it won't push the client.
  3. I'm still testing SCCM 2012 within out IT department, getting ready to roll clients out site wide. Today I re-imaged a test box I've been using to Windows 8. The box was running Win 7 and had the SCCM client installed. I couldn't push the client out as SCCM was showing that it was already installed, so I deleted the device and had SCCM re-discover and now I get an error when trying to push to the client. The database entry " " is missing required information needed to start push installation. Any ideas here? Also, what is the best workflow when re-imaging a system that already has the SCCM client? Should I delete from AD and SCCM and then re-join domain with the reimaged PC? Thanks! Chris
  4. No there still empty. I set up device groups with a direct rule pointing to the all system collection. When I look at the properties it shows all the system in the device collection, but if I click on the collection, nothing is there.
  5. I accidentally deleted a collection that ended up deleting all devices. They all rediscovered through AD, but all of my device collections are empty if I click show members. But it still shows the member count and if I click on properties it shows all the members under member ship rules. How can I get them back to show under show members?
  6. Having some issues with how to send applications or packages to the Application catalog. Is there a way to publish just to the catalog and have them be either available or needing approval? Thanks Chris
  7. We are in the process of setting up SCCM 2012 for software updates and software distribution. We currently have WSUS set up for Windows updates and other GPO settings. Will the WSUS box still be the box pushing out the windows updates, or will we need to reconfigure this on the SCCM box? I'm just trying to understand why we need to add WSUS on the SCCM box. Thanks Chris
  8. Hi - We currently have a WDS set up that was have been using for about a year capturing and deploying Windows 7 images. We had been using Ghost, we still have a few lagacy systems that will stay running XP and we want to be able to capture these systems with the WDS as opposed to Ghost, but not sure what the process is. Thanks Chris Anderson
