  1. Seems there is a hotfix for RTM ... KB2780664 (CU2) Currently installing to see if that helps with the SP1 update.
  2. Found a couple of things in the logs... INFO: WMI namespace root\MSCluster not exists on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. 3. Yes, that is the post I used for the upgrade
  4. I'm upgrading to SP1 ... you cannot upgrade straight to R2 from RTM so I've read? So upgrade to SP1 first, then CU3, then R2?
  5. I checked the ConfigMgrSetup Log which gives me this: INFO: setupdl.exe: Finish Configuration Manager Setup 7/15/2014 4:10:51 PM 5280 (0x14A0) INFO: Attempting to load resource DLL... 6. Having major issues with upgrading to SP1 at present (the plan is R2 after as you cannot upgrade straight to R2) and thought had got it all sorted with the SQL errors but despite this the SP1 upgrade fails once it completes the prerequistes with: ERROR: No site is installed that can be upgraded. Configuration Manager Setup 7/15/2014 4:11:35 PM 6044 (0x179C) This is pretty vague and I cannot find any information about this error. Any ideas?
  7. I have one SCCM 2012 server with an additional distribution point that has been working fine until recently. I planned to roll out Forefront Endpoint Protection using the Endpoint role in SCCM to find all of our devices / users have disappeared from the CCM console! Any suggestions how to fault diagnose the issue? - I'm not seeing anything useful in the logs at present. I've checked the boundaries / boundary groups and these are fine. I have checked the component status and have an issue with SMS_DISCOVERY_DATA_MANAGER which is complaining about different SID owners but I don't think this will affect Active Directory Discovery agents? Any help appreciated.
  8. Same problem I have ... LAN driver is wrong / not added to boot image.
  9. I am in the process of build & capture Windows 7 using SCCM 2012 after moving from WDS. I have sorted the OS Installer along with the boot image utilising the excellent guides on here and we can now boot into PXE and start the Windows 7 build... which then lead me to the problem of new hardware needing network drivers. So I downloaded the drivers and ran the .exe to get the relevant files to add to the driver database... so I could start creating my driver packs... unfortunately adding the drivers fails with: Error: Some driver(s) can not be imported successfully. See following details. Error: Failed to import the following drivers: • Realtek PCI GBE Family Controller - An error occurred while importing the selected driver. Realtek PCI GBE Family Controller - An error occurred while importing the selected driver. It doesn't tell me why... so I then checked the drivercatalog.log which also failed to tell me why... I've tried different drivers and all generate the same errors.
  10. Program? Office is being installed by the user via the software center which provides sufficient rights to install as they are defined as part of the SCCM setup.
  11. That's the guide I used... Unfortunately it no longer seems to work on any machine Screenshot:
  12. Just tried on another client and same error ... Checked the client and you can see the Office files have been copied to the ccmcache folder (that the user does not have access rights too?) but it does include all the required files so I suspect a permissions issue? Any ideas?
  13. Yes it works from the setup.exe fine .... With SCCM being new in the company I didn't want to start enforcing software installs over the LAN without some user interaction hence deployed via the software center as available software that the user can choose to install at present. I tested this on a fresh machine and it worked fine yet now I'm getting these errors.
  14. Hi All, New to SCCM 2012 and gradually working my way round utilising the guides on here that have been VERY helpful! I added Office 2010 to the software library for deployment so have created the package, then the application to deploy to the Catalogue and everything seems fine. At the client users can select to install the software via software center / Application Catalogue. It then starts to download the software before running the installation... which is where I have hit a bit of a dead end! Half way through the install I get an error: Setup cannot find Office.en-us\ShellUI.MST. Browse to a valid installation source, then click ok. Very odd as I assumed the client downloads all the files before doing the installation!? Any advice on how to diagnose the issue? Thanks!
