SCCM 2012 When I push Packages to DPs I get the followin error in the distmgr.log on the MP: Cancelling network connection to \\Servername\ADMIN$ SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER 11/28/2012 6:20:02 PM 7312 (0x1C90) The system pauses for a minute or so and the the SMS_Executive service fails unexpectedly. Also I notice in the event viewer: Faulting application smsexec.exe, version 5.0.7711.0, time stamp 0x4f4307ec, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18541, time stamp 0x4ec3e855, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0000000000048a0e, process id 0x%9, application start time 0x%10. Any help would be greatly appreciated. MP is Windows Server Enterprise SP 2 96 GB of RAM - SCCM 2012 DPs are Windows 2008 R2 SP1

Is there a way to schedule Distribution of Driver Packs to Distribution Points? We have just setup our new SCCM 2012 environment and have a number driver packs that need to be distributed to about 10 DPs. We would like to do this on nights and weekends as the Driver Packs are large. Ideas? Thanks

We are in the process of setting SCCM 2012 for patching and OSD. Some of the OSD files (Images and Driver Packs) are large and take forever to distribute to remote sites with small WAN connection. My question is can you copy Driver Packs and Image to External Drive and ship to the site and then copy back to the DP and Import? This would be a one time process after we get them up to date we would then distribute as normal. Ideas?

Yes it is XP SP3. But what if it was Windows 7?

I would like to capture an image of a machine but without the Sysprep in the task sequence. We have a piece of Manufacturing equipment that I want to take a mirror image of and store in case the machine ever crashes. I do not want to sysprep the machine when I capture it. Is it as simple as removing all the Sysprep options? Thanks
