  1. Hey I'm using System Center 2012 Configuration Manager to deploy different programs to a collection and it all goes well! What I still don't understand is: If a program fails to install on one computer (out of lets say 20 computers). How do I send a new installation to that computer without making a new deployment? The reason I don't want to make a new deployment is because I like to have a good overview over how many computers that are compliant by looking at one deployment only (I don't want 10 different deployments to look at only for one program) Here is a screenshot of how my "Deployments" overview looks like: UnkinkedFiber
  2. Hello My Configuration Manager server is on domain A, and I want to connect it to domain B so that I can deploy applications and run OSD to domain B aswell. I have already configured the firewall so that I can contact servers within domain B. When I add a new forest manually in Configuration Manager, under Discovery Status, it says "failed to connect using specified account". And under Publishing Status, it says "Cannot contact the LDAP server". What are the requirements to be able to connect to another forest?
  3. Hey! I'm trying to deploy Microsoft Office 2010. I can see the content being downloaded (in Software Center), but when it starts to install it fails with the code 0x80070652. In Configuration Manager it says that another application is allready being installed.... Has anyone experienced this before? What might be the cause? UnkinkedFiber
  4. Hey Peter 33 I do have SP1 already. I will try to allow Clients to contact the DP anonymously and see if it helps. Thanks for Your advice, highly appreciated!
  5. Bump... Has anyone else had this issue? I hate to wait 2 hours+ every time i'm testing my OSD
  6. Hey guys I'm trying to do an Operating System Deployment. When the Task sequence gets to "Apply Operating System", it starts downloading content from http://[servername].[domain]/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/...... etc. This download takes about 2 hours to complete (sometimes even more). A couple of days ago, when i tested my task sequence for the first time, it downloaded much faster (in like 10-20 minutes). At that point I started getting some errors though, and the deployment didn't finish successfully, so i removed PXE role + WDS from the server, restarted it, and added the roles back to the server. Since then, the content download has gone very slowly... I'm running on a pretty fast network. What do you think could be the cause? UnkinkedFiber
