  1. For the last 3 months I've had some spotty issues with WSUS on my SCCM 2012 SP1 site. The biggest issue seems to be that every month, one or two servers seems to get one update a week or longer after every other server does. Not only that, but it installs the "lagged" update in the middle of the day, violating the maintenance window, and I do not have the deadline behavior set to override the maintenance window on the deployment. The most recent example is it installed IE 10 in the middle of the day, and then rebooted the server. I deployed the IE10 update in December 2013, and EVERY other server received this update then, and I've had this VM for 3 years now, so it's not like it's a new server that was just a little slow picking up the updates. I have zero explanation for how this happened. This is so bizarre. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
  2. Bump. I ran into this error and the log file said I couldn't reach the Network Share. Troubleshooting it, I couldn't reach that share on the user DESPITE having the correct permissions. The cause had nothing to do with SCCM, it was a VMware issue with adding a 2nd hard drive to Server 2012, and Server 2012 picking up the 2nd drive as removable storage. The fix: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1012225 More info: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserver8gen/thread/179c72b2-2957-43a0-8798-472e907a6e55/ Hope this helps someone else.
  3. I honestly do not understand... I did a complete reinstall in a lab, and the same problem came up. I verified the ASP.NET 4.5 feature is enabled via DISM, and even tried uninstalling ASP.NET 4.5 and reinstalling it... no go. Anyone have any ideas?
  4. Update - I looked in the SMSPortalWebSetup.log and found it said "IIS component ASP.NET is not installed. Please install it." But yet ASP and ASP.NET 4.5 show up as role services when I go to Server Manager? Any ideas?
  5. When I try to browse to the Application Catalog, I get a 404 error. I accepted the defaults so it should be in the Default Web Site, but I don't see it in there. I tried reinstalling, following the steps on here, but it did not work. I'm on Server 2012 and have SCCM SP1. Thanks.
