  1. Guess I'll answer my own question in case someone else is looking for the same information. After hearing back from Mr. Mead he confirmed that there is no such documentation at this time. For the most part there were only a few little items I was concerned about - 98% of perms in SCCM 2012 were straight forward and simple to understand.
  2. Well I guess nobody has an answer to this question. So maybe it was a really good question. Thanks anyway.....
  3. Hi all, Is there a doc that exists that compares SCCM 2007 User Security Rights to equivelant settings in SCCM 2012 taking into account that 2012 is role based. For example in CM 2007 setting the Advertisement class to have Read, Delete and Create permissions cannot be done in CM 2012 because Advertisements no longer exist they are called Deployments, yet in the CM 2012 User Security Rights there is no Deployment object. So what are the equivelant settings in CM 2012? Would granting the Deploy Packages permission to Collections do the same thing? Is there a doc that defines all permissions in CM 2012? or one that does for CM 2007?
  4. Hi I am running Server 2012 with CM 2012 SP1 and would like to set up Internet Based client support which requires certificates. I have a 2003 Server ENT. running Cert Svc - are these certificates compatible with CM 2012 SP1? I found a Technet article that only mentions using Server 2008 Enterprise or 2008 DataCenter and specifically mentiones that version 3 templates are not compatible. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699362.aspx: Nothing is mentioned about using Server 2003 Enterprise.
