  1. Resolved....ugh....the package i had specifically setup for Windows 8 only....not Windows 8.1. I checked Windows 8.1 and that resolved my issue. technology will be the death of me hahaha.
  2. The client is the latest from the SP1 release. The client machine says 9.99.9999.9999 in the installation properties though...that doesnt sound right... I installed Windows 8.1 via a task using an 8.1 ISO from my volume license center, during the task, Configuration Manager client is installed. Once the task is complete I log into windows and I see the 2 deployments that go to all machine, but if i add a 3rd, it never appears regardless of my attempts. I can install the other 2 applications without any issue, but if I cant add new ones, that's a problem. Maybe I should upgrade to R2? Unfortunately I need to deploy 4 surface 2 pros this week, so I'm going to have to figure this out haha...
  3. Hi, I am currently testing windows 8.1 and i noticed when I first install the SCCM client any package that I had configured for All systems appear for install. However if I add a new package or application, it will not appear after refreshing the policies. I never had this problem in Windows 7 or 8. Is this a known issue? I am using the latest update of SCCM 2012 SP1 and that is running on Windows Server 2008 R2. Any help or information would be great. Thank you.
  4. So upon looking at the logs, i see that it a few of my tasks say they completed successfully. However the settings did not apply on the machine. There are a few that also failed saying "The request is not supported"
  5. Thanks! Ill give it a try! Ill take another look at my logs as well to verify...this was driving me crazy last week!
  6. Hello all! I am new to SCCM. I followed the above instructions to upgrade my existing build to SP1. Everything appears to have worked, however, when I PXE boot and attempt to run a task, it partitions the drive, installs the OS, and installs the client, however at the end of the client install the task ends and goes to the Windows 7 desktop. This was not an issue before installing SP1. I have recreated the task and nothing has changed. Any ideas? Ive tried searching the net but I havent found much on this
