  1. Hi all. I have two trusted domains that I want to integrate to an existing SCCM environment, so I can manage the systems in each domain. The schema is not extended, and I don't intend to extend the schema on the new forests. I'd like my plan to consist of the following: 1. Enable AD discovery for both forests 2. Add SCCM agent installer account as local admin on all machines in both domains 3. Collect all networks and form boundaries and boundary groups 4. perform a client push on systems discovered in the new domains. Will this work? Am I missing anything? Thanks!
  2. thanks for the suggestions. I double checked the images and packages and ensured they were all on the DP, this is a new setup so I haven't defined any drivers yet. I ran the report 290 and from what I see it also shows that each package referenced by the TS is on the DP.
  3. I haven't defined boundaries. Wouldn't this still work without boundaries defined?
  4. Dear All, I've built a test SCCM 2007 server and have been trying for some time now to build Windows 7 virtual machines from a boot ISO. I've tried HyperV and Vmware but both give the same errors. They always report "failed to run task sequence", and "an error occurred while retrieving policy for this computer (0x80040005)" I definitely could use some help with this! I've pulled the smsts.log file and in all cases I see the same output: CLibSMSMessageWinHttpTransport::Send: URL: WIN2008-R210A.CORP.HOME.COM:80 CCM_POST /ccm_system/request TSMBootstrap 7/22/2013 4:50:24 PM 796 (0x031C) Error. But, this has all been resoved as far as I can tell, with all components reporting no errors. The MP troubleshooter now also shows no issues. I've been through the very detailed setup guides on this site, but just can't seem to figure this one out. Using F8 to get to command prompt in Windows PE I also confirm that I have an IP address, and can ping the MP with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, THANKS!
