[Not updating console]

Any luck with this? Just noticed this in my SCCM 2012r2 install this morning.

As an FYI, if you know the Article ID of a patch you don't want, choose the Article ID Filter, then list it with a - in front.

 

So for instance, I skip the following since they do a double reboot and kill a task sequence I use:

[Distribution package - Permissions denied]

Having a similar issue myself:

 

Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 229, severity 14: [42000][229][Microsoft]

Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 229, severity 14: [42000][229][Microsoft][sql Server Native Client 11.0][sql Server]The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'SC_SiteDefinition', database 'CM_XYZ', schema 'dbo'.

I went under Deployment Packages and selected to display the Package Source Path. This revealed a package was pointing to the root. Made a change to the package to point it to another folder within the software updates folder we have and that cleared the problem.
