So I've been trying to figure this one out for some time now and have not found an answer. Even called Microsoft licensing and didn't get a straight answer. Think this might be the best place to ask it.
Our company has an EA with SCCM as a part of the Core Cal. We currently have SCCM 2012 R2 on one 2-core server. With that in mind, are we allowed to manage servers using our SCCM installation? Or does that require some other kind of license?
We're new to the System Center product suite, and I think we're a bit confused as there is something called a "server management license" which sort of implies that you need one to manage servers using SCCM. Is that the case or does that refer to something else?
