I use collection variables to install software during the OSD task sequence phase. These collection variables are linked to collections based on a query of the OU membership of the PC
This works great if i reimage a known PC.
How do i go about achieving the same result with a new PC not known to SCCM?
At what stage does the sccm client pass the OU membership to the sccm server?
Ive tried to pre stage the PC in active directory and move it to the relevant OU then done an ad system discovery on the site server but it doesnt show the PC in config manager console
I'm a bit stuck on this...has anybody managed to do this or is there a better way?
