  1. hmm the client want to do that... hmm i've change the OS to 2003.. but it keep freezing... got any idea what happen ? i got 2.5 Gb memory Xeon Core 2 Duo 2 Gb if the system idle.. for 1 or 2 days... then the next day.. it will stop responding.. and freeze
  2. hi.. is there any guidelines for installing SCCM 2007 SP1 and Win 2003 ? coz i think about chaning the OS from 2008 to 2003
  3. hi... is there anything i can do ? hmm how to check my webserver running well ? i follow the instruction from this web.. but i still cannot do the "net use * http://localhost" will this part become a problem ?
  4. hi.. thanks a lot for the reply... for SQL.. i will work for the SP3... i've just realized that there is SP3 for SQL... btw.. how to open you SQL Manager ? I check the application shortcut.. there is nothing like your screen... *sorry for my stupidness... about the 3rd question... i mean.. if the comp name, is allready in the "all system" is it automatically regiestered to the SCCM ? ( i mean can use "run advertisment") or we have to wait for couple hours to make it active ? (client = yes) because last time.. i have install the SCCM (just try and error)... it take one or two day to make a PC on the "all system".. .and it will take another one or two day.. to make it "client= yes".. its make me desperate.. ------ in this new setting.. i set for 1 hours.. to discovery.. but it seems.. it take more than what i configure... ------ about the firewall.. i've turn off the firewall (in client and server) but.. it still have the same status.. is there any other way ?
  5. Greetings to all... I got some trouble installing and configuring SCCM... Here is my topology... i wish someone could help... I'm in domain environment... but I'm not the Domain Controller, and I'm not a DHCP Server. I use Windows 2008 and I use static IP. I installed SQL 2005, with SP 2. And I use SCCM SP1, with R2 installed. My hardware Xeon 2 Core 3.4 Ghz, with memory 2 Gb. I got some question to ask : 1. My server use 1.6 Gb / 2 Gb of memory. And the SQL use 1 Gb of them. Is it normal ? 2. How long does it take to add a client (XP or Vista), from installation to be known in the SCCM Collection -> All system ? is it 24 Hours ? Because it take so long, to be known. 3. After it shown in the "All system" its no automaticaly regiestered, it cannont "run advertisment", how long does this process ? And is there any thing we could do to accelerate this process ? --------- About the Client registration : 1. My client (Vista). has allready shown in the collection "All System", but the client status is "no" 2. I check my client, and i have allready configured this to my "ICN" SCCM Code. And it works well. 3. But when i check the log.. it shown like this : ClientLocation.log <![LOG[GetCurrentManagementPointEx]LOG]!><time="13:07:05.451+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="3168" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1039"> <![LOG[Current Management Point is sccm2.iconplus.co.id with version 6221 and capabilities: <Capabilities SchemaVersion="1.0"> </Capabilities>.]LOG]!><time="13:07:05.466+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="3168" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1094"> <![LOG[GetCurrentManagementPointEx]LOG]!><time="13:11:06.109+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="4296" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1039"> <![LOG[Current Management Point is sccm2.iconplus.co.id with version 6221 and capabilities: <Capabilities SchemaVersion="1.0"> </Capabilities>.]LOG]!><time="13:11:06.124+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="4296" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1094"> <![LOG[GetCurrentManagementPointEx]LOG]!><time="13:15:06.205+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="1276" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1039"> <![LOG[Current Management Point is sccm2.iconplus.co.id with version 6221 and capabilities: <Capabilities SchemaVersion="1.0"> </Capabilities>.]LOG]!><time="13:15:06.221+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="1276" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1094"> <![LOG[GetCurrentManagementPointEx]LOG]!><time="13:23:06.307+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="4988" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1039"> <![LOG[Current Management Point is sccm2.iconplus.co.id with version 6221 and capabilities: <Capabilities SchemaVersion="1.0"> </Capabilities>.]LOG]!><time="13:23:06.322+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="4988" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1094"> <![LOG[GetCurrentManagementPointEx]LOG]!><time="13:31:06.415+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="6004" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1039"> <![LOG[Current Management Point is sccm2.iconplus.co.id with version 6221 and capabilities: <Capabilities SchemaVersion="1.0"> </Capabilities>.]LOG]!><time="13:31:06.431+000" date="06-08-2009" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="6004" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1094"> LocationService.log <![LOG[Attempting to retrieve local MP from AD]LOG]!><time="10:27:32.940+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="lsad.cpp:3778"> <![LOG[Current AD site of machine is Default-First-Site-Name]LOG]!><time="10:27:32.955+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="lsad.cpp:457"> <![LOG[Retrieved local Management Point from AD: sccm2.iconplus.co.id]LOG]!><time="10:27:33.315+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="lsad.cpp:3790"> <![LOG[The 'Certificate Store' is empty in the registry, using default store name 'MY'.]LOG]!><time="10:27:33.330+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="ccmcert.cpp:204"> <![LOG[Refreshing client operational settings over AD]LOG]!><time="10:27:33.346+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="lsad.cpp:4768"> <![LOG[Refreshed security settings over AD]LOG]!><time="10:27:34.393+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="lsad.cpp:4797"> <![LOG[No security settings update detected.]LOG]!><time="10:27:34.393+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="2328" file="lssecurity.cpp:4350"> <![LOG[Current AD site of machine is Default-First-Site-Name]LOG]!><time="11:28:59.639+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="5468" file="lsad.cpp:457"> <![LOG[LSGetAssignedSiteFromAD : Trying to Assign to the Site <ICN>]LOG]!><time="11:29:01.761+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="5468" file="lsad.cpp:1922"> <![LOG[LSVerifySiteVersion : Verifying Site Version for <ICN>]LOG]!><time="11:29:01.761+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="5468" file="lsad.cpp:5279"> <![LOG[LSGetSiteVersionFromAD : Successfully retrieved version '4.00.6221.0000' for site 'ICN']LOG]!><time="11:29:01.979+000" date="06-08-2009" component="LocationServices" context="" type="1" thread="5468" file="lsad.cpp:5087"> <![LOG[LSVerifySiteVersion : Verified Client Version '4.00.6221.1000' is not greater than Site Version '4.00.6221.0000'.
